Upcoming Events

  • Fasting means taking one main meal during the day, with two smaller snacks, which together do not equal a second full meal.

Abstinence traditionally means refraining from meat; many also choose to abstain from alcohol on this day.

Ashes will be distributed during the following Masses:

    • 7.45 am, 10 am, 7.30 pm - Cathedral

    • 9.15 am - St Paul’s

Ashes will be brought to our schools and healthcare settings.

  • Lent is a journey - an invitation to pause, reflect, and prepare our hearts for Easter. How will you walk this season?

You’ll have more than six ways to grow in faith this Lent - like an introductory Bible Study, Stations of the Cross, a teen faith discussion and colouring pages for our youngest parishioners each Sunday.

More information is also shared in the Bulletin, through our schools, and on posters in our churches.

  • Looking to know more about the Bible? Join us during Lent - whether the first time you’re exploring scripture or you are looking to deepen your faith.

Our four sessions will focus on:

    • Beginning with a Biblical mindset

    • Understanding the connection between Old & New Testament

    • Studying Scripture translations

    • Exploring the New Testament letters

    We hope you’ll join in!

    • Wednesdays, 7.30 - 9 pm

    • 25 Feb; 4, 18 & 25 March

    • Parish Community Centre

  • The Bishop of Meath, Most Rev. Tom Deenihan, has issued a new Pastoral Letter on the future of parish life in our diocese. This letter reflects on what it means today to belong to a parish community, and how each parish is called to be a place of welcome, faith, and mission. We encourage all parishioners to read the letter, reflect on it, and pray for the future of our parish family. You can download it here:
