Children from Gainstown supporting friends from Burma
Sixth class pupils from St Colmcille's NS met Archbishop Kriengsak as part of their twinning links with Burmese migrants. With Burma being in the news after the release of Aung San Suu Kyi, there is alot of interest in the plight of children from that country.
After Archbishop Kriengsak celebrated Mass in the Cathedral, he met the sixth class children from St Colmcille's, Gainstown. Later the Archbishop had a meeting with the principals and some of the teachers from each of the 10 schools involved in the twinning project.
