Ecumenical Harvest Service
All Saints Church hosted a revived Thanksgiving Service last Friday. The prayers were led by Rev. Alistair Graham, joined by Fr Paul and Mr Gary Hill from Mullingar Christian Fellowship.
During his homily on Saint Luke's Gospel parable of the sower and the seed, Fr Paul reflected on the importance of shared Christian witness in the community. "The seed that's hidden away will get no light and seed without the light will never grow. But when we display our faith, like the produce of a summer harvest, then the fruits are there for all to see and thanks is given is the Lord who sowed the seed and made from our sometimes rocky ground an unencumbered soil."
