The parish cemeteries are special places for bereaved families and for Christians, they are held as sacred grounds, as they hold the earthly remains of our brothers and sisters in Christ, awaiting the call to resurrection. In the preparation of the graves of our Beloved Deceased for cemetery devotions, please ensure all leftover material is removed from the cemetery and disposed of appropriately.

Lord Jesus Christ, by your own three days in the tomb, you hallowed the graves of all who believe in you and so made the grave a sign of hope that promises resurrection even as it claims our mortal bodies.

For those attending the prayers in Ballyglass; we encourage as many people as possible to use the Cathedral and town car parks and to walk to Ballyglass.
